Accessorie Circuit features designer and contemporary accessories for women that includes fine jewelry, handbags, footwear, scarves, belts, gloves and gift items that buyers could order for immediate or Fall 2017. Intermezzo Collections is elevated women's fashion for delivery now for they Spring/Summer 2017 season that features current trends. Major trends in accessories that I saw for the upcoming season were bags/shoes/jewelry with lots of bright colorful pom poms and tassels on them. Clothing for the warm months ahead of us was either in earth-tones, brights or lots of white. Silhouettes trending were the off the shoulder blouse continuing, flowing peasant skirts/blouses in embroidered lightweight fabrics, or bright colored cotton print sheath dresses that are on the preppy side and perfect for the seashore crowd.   Both trade shows are for the fashion industry only and a part of UBM fashion group. Click on the websites of each designer to find out where to buy the styles in the photos.  Both shows ran conclusively at the Jacob Javits Convention Center in NYC January 8-10, 2017. The photo above is of the two fashionistas Cognac Wellerlane the blond and Patricia Ann Parenti the brunette whom covered the show to bring you this blog. WWW.UBMFASHION.COM

MARIA'S

A technicolor collection from the mountains of Guatemala made by local artisans. The inspiration for this line is in the spiritual treasures of the Mayan culture. Each textile (the colorful part of the bags) composes symbolisms of the ancient books, embodies mysticism and knowledge, which tells us how the history of mankind began. Each bag is leather with the textile part handmade and one of a kind from the artisans in they following areas of the country; Joyabaj textile ,Chajul textile, Chichicastenango textile, and Nahuala textile. When I first laid eyes on these exist bags i knew I had to learn more about them and so should you so make sure you visit the website to learn all about each textile and where the region is located that it's made in. The different style bags offered are clutch, bowler, satchel, messenger, and kelly. The company also has detachable purse straps that match the textile on the purses as seen in the middle photo. Don't forget to buy the matching color fringe purse charms to complete your bag. Retail prices for the bags $495.00 -$1,195.00. Straps $350.00 and scarves $200.00 -$250.00. Started in 2006 by Simon Guindi Cohen. Spenglish means a combination of English and Spanish. This comfy clothing is 100% cotton knit that is pre shrunk that uses a double wash process to make it soft on the skin. Casual styles range from a sexy long dress with criss cross straps in the back and slits as seen in the photo above to more everyday looks to wear to yoga class, home or to do errands in. Prints are camouflage, fabrics come in  heather grays, stripes and many soft pastel shades. I especially love the tee shirts that have cutouts in the shoulder and front for they can be worn everyday but still have a unique look to them.  Prices range from $58.00 - $178.00 and can be ordered from WWW.SPENGLISH.COM
