Pop Culture Historian Barry Rivadue poses for a photo-op with TV Host Cognac Wellerlane

Longislanders attended a 1966 Long Island Christmas lecture given by Pop Culture expert and Movie Historian Buff Barry Rivadue at the Jericho Library Theater in Jericho New York on Monday December 13, 2016.

Whether or not you have nostalgic memories of growing up on Long Island fifty years ago, a spectacular presention of that era brought back wonderful memories of the music, toys, shopping mall and TV shows as they once were.

After the lecture Mr. Rivadue participated in a Q&A with the local patrons eager to express their past from that time period.

Barry Rivadue is a graduate of LIU Post, and a videographer for the last 25 years, specializing in documenting the Gold Coast. He's also a board member of the North Shore Historical Museum for the past ten years, and has served as an adjunct video instructor at Webb Institute in Glen Cove. His presentations blend local history with popular culture of the past century.
