Billionnaires and a Sexy art crowd dressed in diamonds, gowns and tuxes attended  a special preview  viewing gala at Miami River Art Fair in Miami Beach on December 1, 2016.

The sexy affluent art crowd sipped champagne and dined on  filet mignon while deciding what paintings to  purchase.

This was the fifth edition of the Miami River Art Fair, an international, contemporary art fair that took  place at the Downtown Miami Convention Center inside the James L. Knight International Center.

This art fair was conceived as a showcase of world-class galleries, artists and projects in an indoor booth setting at the Riverfront Hall. This grand show space overlooks the one-of-a-kind outdoor Riverwalk Sculpture Mall that will feature monumental sculpture on the banks of the historic Miami River.

During the event I interviewed Prince Lorenzo de Medici who showcased his art and his fabulous car.

Prince Lorenzo de' Medici is a direct descendant and heir to one of the most famous family names in human history.  The de' Medici Dynasty, which created the Italian Renaissance, symbolizes unparalleled historical contributions to art, politics, banking, cuisine, medicine, accounting, philanthropy, commerce, geography, agriculture, religion, textiles, and fashion.  The family tradition continues with Prince Lorenzo, who is a cultural ambassador, trendsetter, Royal TV Reality Star, Chef & Culinary Expert, Artist, Auto Enthusiast, Philanthropist, and International Keynote Speaker, fluent in English, Italian, Spanish, Polish, and Russian.

Among many U.S. and International television appearances, Prince Lorenzo starred in TLC's Secret Princes. He was also featured in Italy's Wild West, as well as the reality show Undercover Princes in the Ukraine.  He is available for a Reality Series on his exciting life, or be a Host of, or Judge for, a Reality Show (Travel, Cooking, History, Dating, Art), Host Radio Show, Podcast, Online Series, Live Appearances (e.g. Night with a Prince), Host a Pageant, Infomercial (Luxury Goods), Soccer Commentary, Endorsements: Fragrances, Watches, Fashion, Auto, Food, Furniture, Linens, Wine & Spirits...

Prince Lorenzo de' Medici is a food expert.  From his upcoming royal cookbook, The Noble Art of Cooking, he shares secret recipes from the de' Medici kitchen handed down from generation to generation.

As an accomplished artist, Prince Lorenzo paints unique portraits of his ancestors to perpetuate their immense legacy as well as to bring them to the language of contemporary art.

He recently designed his own automobile, and he can often be seen riding his personally designed motorcycle.

I also had the chance to talk to Artist Kristina Kossi.

Native New Yorker Kristina took a sculpting class in 1992 as she felt that she had a talent for it, she put sculpting on hold when she opened the renowned jazz club Zinc Bar; later adding Flatiron and Pegu to her portfolio of New York lounges. She was the lead designer for these venues. The stained glass lighting fixtures in the Flatiron Lounge and Zinc Bar are drawn by hand and typical of her artwork.

Kristina was born into a professional family of ice skaters. When her parents were on tour they took her with them and Kristina skated in the shows, and later went on to perform solo in ice shows. In 1993 Kristina went on to open the jazz club, Zinc Bar thereby filling her life with music. She now sculpts full time. Kristina’s bronze ‘Odette’ is on display in the Zinc Bar and is for sale. She is studying sculpting under Antony Antonios at the Art Student's League in New York.

Kristina lives in New York with her husband and two sons.

Her art work and sculptures can be seen at the Paul Gabezas Gallery in New York City which was also shown at the Miami River Art Fair.  Kristina reveals, "I love the Renaissance and the Art Deco periods, the lines and their simple elegance are just so exquisite. I am inspired by Bernini, Nadelman, Manship and Verrier. My youth, spent in the worlds of ballet and skating, have given me an eye for the form and movement of the body which I incorporate into my works."
