Barry Klarberg and Sara Herbert-Galloway at the Inagural event for St. Judes in the Hamptons in Water Mill, New York.
Inaugural St. Jude Hope in the Hamptons took place on Saturday, July 11, 2015 in Water Mill, New York.
Supporters had an amazing time benefiting the kids of St. Jude and hope that all were inspired by the lifesaving mission of St. Jude Children's Research Hospital!
Thanks to contributors, the organization raised more than $500,000 for the kids of St. Jude.
The evening would not have been made possible without the contributions from many generous sponsors and donors, guests and volunteers.
Special thanks were given to dedicated event hosts and co-chairs and their entire committee, as well as their emcee KT McFarland, their talented performers, the Movin’ Out Band, and of course, the wonderful St. Jude family.
Your participation helps St. Jude continue as one of the global leaders in finding cures for pediatric cancer and other life-threatening diseases.
Because of everyone's generous donations, no family ever receives a bill for treatment, travel, housing or food — because all a family should worry about is helping their child live.
Unsure of his life’s direction, a young Danny Thomas sought guidance from St. Jude Thaddeus, the patron saint of hopeless causes. If the saint would point to the path he should take, Danny vowed to build a shrine in his name. Success followed Danny’s plea and soon after, the legendary entertainer set about fulfilling his vow to St. Jude. The result was St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
St Jude has spent more than half a century finding cures and saving children, and their groundbreaking research has helped push the survival rate for childhood cancer from less than 20% in 1962 to more than 80% today.
