From Friday Jan 16th to Sunday Jan 18th film and horror fans from across Long Island alongside celebrity guests such as Cleve Hall - Monster Man, Jonathan Tiersten - Sleep Away Camp, Eileen Dietz - The Exorcist, Robert Mukes - House of 1000 Corpses, Elizabeth Shepherd, Rutanya Alda, Lesleh Donaldson, Sharon Lentz, Jim Krut, Tiffany Shepis, Stacey Nelkin and several local independent filmmakers enjoyed a scary good time as the NY Horror Show and Macabre Faire Film Festival returned to Long Island at the UPSKY Long Island Hotel, 110 Motor Parkway, Hauppauge, NY 11788.

The NY HORROR SHOW is an event brought to you by the creators of the Macabre Faire Film Festival and All Things TwitchTwitch Productions as well as the creators of Eternal Con.

The event began in on Friday night with red carpet arrivals at 7pm for the Macabre Faire Film Festival awards dinner in the Vanderbilt Ballroom, which included a buffet, a special memorial for 2 people that were part of previous festivals along with a few mentions of others that have passed on from the film world for 2014, followed by a special screening of the short film "The Secret" directed by Andrew Leckonby and a live episode of the "Even Later With Rizzo" comedy show (a parody with undead characters to the Johnny Carson Show). There was also a performance by music composer Robert Frankenberg called "Symphony of Oblivion" and a DJ spinning until midnight.

On Saturday January 17th, the event begans at 10am with all sorts of vendors in the Main Ball Room and this room is open from 10am until 8pm. There were 4 separate conference rooms which was converted into screening rooms from 10am until midnight in each. These rooms were the: Diplomat, Amphitheater, Brookhaven, & Huntington. There were 2 separate panel rooms which were the: Regency & Hampton. Considering the Regency is larger than the Hampton the bulk of the panels took place in that room with smaller panels in the Hampton room along with some games through out the day.

On Sunday January 18th, the event began at 10am and runs until 5pm at which time the vendor floor closed and all screening rooms were closed as well. There was an award ceremony from 5pm to 6pm for the filmmakers that were chosen for the Macabre Faire Film Festival Winter 2015.
