Guests and supporters enjoyed cocktails, hors d'oeuvres, and a silent auction while helping support Planned Parenthood's programs. This years annual event brought supporters together in the Channing Family Sculpture Garden in Bridgehampton. Exceptional wines were  provided by Channing Daughters Vineyard and catering by Cynthia Battaglia of Distinctive Catering.
Planned Parenthood's role is to bring awareness with cultural sensitivity to all communities, to provide exceptional health services, accurate information and education, and fearless advocacy for reproductive rights and justice.

Planned Parenthood believe it is the right and responsibility of every individual to make her/his own reproductive health decisions.

They believe in universal and unfettered access to confidential, respectful, high-quality reproductive healthcare for all individuals, regardless of their economic status, age, race, ethnicity, sexual orientation, gender, religion, or geographic location.
Planned Parenthood believes it is their responsibility to ensure public health policies that promote sound, responsible sexual health.

The organization believes that all individuals deserve the opportunity to benefit from honest and accurate sexuality education.

This year the organization celebrated eighty years of devotion and dedication to their mission.
The classy event was held under a tent at the Channing Family Sculpture Garden. As mentioned earlier Molly and Walter Channing hosted the event and donated family wines from their neighboring vineyard.  The event raised $165,000 to fund health care and education programs.
Artists April Gornik and Eric Fischl, writer Loraine Boyle, and Edwina von Gal were in attendance, and the benefit was co-chaired by Rima Mardoyan; Jill Scheuer, chair of PPHP; Iris Abrons; and Dorothy Lichtenstein.  Many artists and photographers donated their works for a silent auction, including Steve Miller, Priscilla Heine, Perry Burns, Dan Rizzie, Susan Lazarus, Toni Ross, Terry Elkins, and Lucy Winton. Local merchants provided gift certificates, salon and spa services, show tickets, cooking classes and a private garden tour.

During the program, remarks were made by Rima Mardoyan, Molly Channing, PPHP President/CEO Reina Schiffrin, and Eric Fischl. PPHP Board VP Ann Pogue-Campbell served as master of ceremonies.

Benefit guests were invited to tour the SmartWheels mobile education and testing van.
PPHP operates five health centers in Suffolk that provide affordable health care, education and advocacy throughout the county. Over 90% of PPHP’s services are preventative, including lifesaving cervical and breast cancer screenings, prenatal care, and testing and counseling for sexually transmitted diseases.

Co-chairs of the event included: Rima Mardoyan, Dorothy Lichtenstein, Jill C. Scheuer. Honorary Committee Chair Iris Abrons
