Hamptonites enjoyed the Grand Opening of Newtown Boutique in the posh village of East Hampton on May 25, 2013.
East Hampton is famous for chic boutiques, celebrities summering in the Hamptons and trendy nightspots and fabulous restaurants.
This treasure of a boutique is a collaboration of two designers, Yelena Feuerman and Melina Solnicki. Their extensive exclusive collection from their exotic travels around the world consist of hand crochet dresses, clothing, embellished jeweled sandals from the island of Capri, St. Tropez, Buenos Aires and the Greek island of Mykonos.
The interior of the store was designed by Floral Designer Aaron Villalobos to give it a sexy beach French Rivera appeal.
Designer Yelena was born in Kiev, Ukraine, and came to the United States in 1993. All her life she had a passion for fashion, having a great sense of appreciation for beauty, elegance, and authentic style.
Constantly traveling around the world, she would always find unique fashion pieces to take home with her, to New York: Aztec inspired jewelry, crafted by hand in Colombia, Swarovski crystals and jewel embellished Capri sandals.
After receiving many compliments on her fashionable attire, Yelena decided to establish Yelena NY; a brand whose philosophy is to bring a unique mix of fashion products, composed of popular European designers to the United States. Yelena NY offers both, luxury high-end footwear, such as python pumps; and casual, yet elegant pieces, such as bold rain boots and classic flats.

Designer Aaron originally intended to be a fashion designer. After attending university in Mexico City to study fashion design and returning to New York at age 20, he quickly discovered that his heart was not in clothes but with landscaping and floral design. He began doing arrangements for close friends who subsequently asked him to do flowers for their respective employers. His past and present clients include Martha Stewart, the New York Film Festival, Vanity Fair editor-in-chief Graydon Carter’s celebrity watering hole, Monkey Bar and the recently opened Lanvin boutique on Madison Avenue. With a style that is part south of France mixed with a sprinkling of Tokyo and infused with Latin passion, the end result is always upscale and elegant. Aaron is fast making a name for himself that reverberates beyond his private Manhattan society clientele and the flower market, where he is known for his 6am signature choice mode of transportation – his trusted bicycle. WIth the help of his wife Erica, whom he married in 2010, Aaron plans to open a floral shop within Newtown 23 in the Hamptons.
