Hello darlings, Welcome back to Cognac's Corner Magazine
"The collection is inspired by my garden," revealed Joanna as we chatted backstage after her Mercedes Benz Show in the tents.
Joanna Mastroianni’s Spring/Summer 2013 collection blossomed as models strutted doing the usual cat walk.
The collection was blooming with marigold, apple blossom, garden green and peony printed silk and organza dresses.
Vibrant Splashes of rhododendrons sprinkled across short trenches and caftans, crooked hazel tree patterns curled around a sateen top with a matching skirt and the illusion of tree bark was captured on a short silk, tulle hand-embroidered dress and a floral embossed black matelassé tuxedo with satin lapels.
The collection flowed softly, elegantly as spring transitions into summer. Luxurious, intricate and interesting, Mastroianni is known for collections that make women look and feel glamorous and feminine. The designer has dressed many of Hollywood’s A-list celebrities including Eva Longoria and Beyonce.
