ArtHamptons has recently moved to a larger space to accomodate the growing popularity of fine art. This summer the fair relocated to the Sculpture Fields of Nova’s Ark, just 1,000 yards from the 2011 site.
Arthanptons was situated on an amazingly bucolic 97 acre nature preserve featuring a dramatic Sculpture Park, serene pastures with grazing horses, sheep and polo fields showcasing several games scheduled during the fair. Their new home at Nova’s Ark Project is located on Millstone Road off Scuttle Hole Road in Bridgehampton, a site well-known for many charity events including the ever popular Super Saturday fundraiser.
Arthampton has flourished in just three years since its inception. The Hamptons Expo Group has emerged as one of the fastest growing fine art fair organizers in the United States.
Arthampton “boutique” shows feature prominent galleries exhibiting the finest in post-war and contemporary art. Headquartered in Southampton, New York, the Hamptons Expo Group created and produces ArtAspen, ArtHamptons, the San Francisco Fine Art Fair, the Houston Fine Art Fair and debuting in February 2012, the Palm Springs Art Fair.
Hamptons glamorous art aficionados gathered to enjoy important works of art-presented by 75 prominent galleries from around the world at the opening night party in Bridgehampton. Guests Enjoyed wine and hor d’oeuvres as they discovered the finest in contemporary art. Admission donation benefited East Hampton’s LongHouse Reserve.

Primarily known as an actor, director and performer (half of the comedy team Cheech and Chong) Marin has developed the finest private collection of Chicano art in the country. He states, "Chicano art is American art. My goal is to bring Chicano to the forefront of the art world." His traveling exhibition, broke attendance records during its groundbreaking 15 city tour during 2007-2011. He has authored three books on the topic.
Well respected Art Adviser Constance Schwartz, the illustrious past director of the Nassau County Museum of Art, shared her insights on successful art collecting. She explored what you really need to know to build an impressive fine art collection. The event hosted by Debra Rothberg from BTheBuzz and 25A Magazine served as a “meet and greet” opportunity for art lovers from the Gold Coast region of Long Island.
