Shauntele’s Fall 2012 Collection

Shauntele’s Fall 2012 Collection was a slightly edgier take on Shauntele’s trademark feminine silhouettes. Shauntele’s collection presents a multidimensional femininity by combining tailored, body conscious constructions with details of soft draping. As Nana Brew Hammond of BlueFly says: “Staying true to her commitment to working woman chic, designer Shauntele presented a collection punctuated by cubicle ready separates complete with colorblock skinny pants and pencil skirts, printed dresses and killer coats.” Her approach ushers in a new respect and understanding of modern woman’s duality. Both femininity and function meet to create versatile classics to be treasured as mainstays in any wardrobe. Launched in 2008, Shauntele’s clientele includes some of the most influential women on the Manhattan social scene, such as Ivanka Trump and actress Judy Reyes.

FIRMATO Espen Salberg Fall 2012

After presenting at Hong Kong Fashion Week this past season, FIRMATO Espen Salberg made its New York debut with its Autumn/Winter 2012 Collection titled “The Scent of A Woman.” The silhouette is that of body enhancing shapes that will emphasize a woman’s curves and femininity. Draping and ruching play equally important parts, as do exceptional fitting and pleating. Espen’s FIRMATO Woman, is a strong woman, sophisticated and elegant, at times inspired by the images of a “Femme Fatale.” She is proud of her femininity, sensuous and always elegant. The collection consists of Evening and Cocktail dresses as well as Mix & Match pieces and jackets.

Born in Norway and living many years in Italy and now Bali, designer Espen Salberg discovered his creative flair for design during his career in the international dance sport world as a former World Professional Dance Champion, teacher and coach. Known as the originator of “Stretch Couture,” Espen has worked with celebrities & artists of many calibers all over the world. Espen had the pleasure of designing and making the lilac dress that Jennifer Lopez wore in the famous Tango dance-scene with Richard Gere in the film ‘Shall We Dance.” He has been a Judge on the popular reality show” Dancing With The Stars” in Italy and recently in Indonesia. His experience as a dancer and choreographer influence his creative fashion work, being familiar with the movements of the body and the way to let the beauty of dance movements transfer into sensuous lines and shapes that enhance a woman’s presence.

The fashion industry is a product of the modern age. Prior to the mid nineteenth century, most clothing was custom made. It was handmade for individuals, either as home production or on order from dressmakers and tailors. Thanks.

Hmm it appears like your website ate my first comment (it was super long) so I guess I'll just sum it up what I had written and say, I'm thoroughly enjoying your blog. I as well am an aspiring blog writer but I'm still new to everything. Do you have any recommendations for rookie blog writers? I'd definitely appreciate it.
